Learning Collaborative Call September 21, 2026

AIM, in collaboration with the CDC, hosts a learning collaborative to increase the capacity to equitably protect infants from serious illness and death due to RSV. Through understanding the challenges to birthing hospital participation in the VFC program and sharing promising practices, the collaborative hopes to increase birthing hospital participation in the VFC program and help to ensure that every newborn has the opportunity to be protected from RSV disease.

Speakers at the sixth session of the Birthing Hospitals and VFC: A Learning Collaborative to Protect Infants from RSV on September 21 included:

  • Kayla Strong from the Utah immunization program and Rick Carlson from Intermountain Health, who will discuss their practical approach to streamlining reconciliation of RSV immunization data
  • Peri Sosensky from the Connecticut Department of Public Health, who will share insights on the RSV Immunization Scorecard for Birthing Hospitals program
