West Virginia has a number of ongoing HPV vaccination outreach activities that involve collaboration of the Immunization Program with partners. The purpose of these activities is to increase the use of evidence-based strategies from health care providers, especially an effective recommendation for HPV vaccination, in healthcare facilities across West Virginia in order to improve HPV vaccination series completion rates and reduce rates of HPV-associated cancers in the state.
