Rebecca Lawson is a 2022 CDC Public Health Associate working with AIM. As a public health associate, she works to address public health needs and challenges in various ways.
Becca graduated from the University of Iowa in 2021 with Bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience and Russian Language. After graduation, she volunteered as an AmeriCorps VISTA member working with the National Alliance on Mental Illness in rural Iowa. While living in Iowa, she also worked as a contact tracer at the Appanoose County Public Health office. Becca’s public health interests include epidemiology, healthcare equity and access, and immunizations.
