AIM Welcomes New Program Manager in New York State

AIM welcomes Elizabeth Rausch-Phung as the director of the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Bureau of Immunization!

 Dr. Rausch-Phung received her M.D. degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, where she also completed an internship in Internal Medicine. She completed residency training in Preventive Medicine at the University of Michigan, from which she also received a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology. She is board certified in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine.

She joined the NYSDOH in January 2010, and became the medical director of the Bureau of Immunization in September 2010. During her tenure as medical director, Dr. Rausch-Phung supervised the Vaccine-Preventable Disease Surveillance, Perinatal Hepatitis B Prevention Program, Adolescent and Adult Immunization and School Surveillance initiatives, and served as medical advisor to the Vaccines for Children Program.
