Bridging the Gap: Onboarding Birthing Hospitals in the VFC Program Webinar (AIM)
Join AIM on April 21 at 1 pm ET for a webinar featuring the Tennessee immunization program’s Vaccines for Children (VFC) program team as they share an innovative approach to improving birthing hospital enrollment and engagement in the VFC program.
Recognizing a gap in communication during the onboarding process, the Tennessee team developed the Intensive Onboarding Initiative (IOI) to better support busy birthing hospital providers and clinical staff. Through scheduled, one-on-one Microsoft Teams sessions, staff guided birthing hospital staff through enrollment requirements using real-time screen sharing, allowing questions to be addressed efficiently and accurately. This personalized approach not only streamlined the onboarding process, but also fostered stronger relationships, built trust from the outset, and reduced the time required to successfully enroll birthing hospitals in the VFC program.
Attendees will gain practical insights into implementing structured, provider-centered onboarding strategies that enhance communication, improve efficiency, and support long-term program success.
