As the Chief Medical Officer, Michelle Fiscus, MD, FAAP, ensures the scientific and clinical accuracy of AIM’s products and communications, fosters collaboration with partner organizations, and provides clinical and immunization program manager insights into strategies to improve immunization rates.

Dr. Fiscus is a board-certified pediatrician and former medical director of Tennessee’s Vaccine-Preventable Diseases and Immunization Program. Dr. Fiscus received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Indiana University and completed her residency in pediatrics at the James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Dr. Fiscus recently completed a 4-year term on the American Academy of Pediatrics Board of Directors and has served on workgroups for the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
