AIM Statement on Vaccines and Autism

The Association of Immunization Managers (AIM) is dedicated to the establishment of a nation free of vaccine-preventable disease. Vaccines have saved millions of lives and kept millions of families from the devastation of losing a child or loved one to preventable illness.

The National Institutes of Medicine, every major national medical association, and health agencies across the world have examined decades of research studies and found no link between vaccines and the development of autism spectrum disorder.

“The evidence is undeniable. Vaccines do not cause autism. Vaccines protect against serious diseases like measles, whooping cough, and seasonal influenza,” said AIM executive director Claire Hannan.
