
Katherine Palmer is a Public Health Specialist at AIM. Katherine’s role includes collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing immunization lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic. This work captures lessons learned to create a record of the COVID-19 response and vaccination campaign to provide recommendations for future outbreaks.
Before working at AIM, Katherine was a CDC Public Health Associate and a Post-Baccalaureate Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, where she conducted HIV research. Katherine graduated from George Mason University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology concentrating in Microbiology and a minor in Geography. She is currently earning her MPH in Infectious Disease from Johns Hopkins University.
