The AIM Partnership Award recognizes partners from the private sector, public health community, non-profits, government (including legislators), academic institutions, and community groups (including coalitions) that have implemented a program, project or service that delivers a valuable benefit, service, or resource that positively impacts all AIM members.

The AIM Partnership Award winner will be an AIM partner who has worked together with AIM to address an issue important to the AIM membership. The partnership must involve collaboration and shared responsibility between AIM and the partner.

2017 AIM Partnership Award presented to Dr. Melinda Wharton (CDC) 

The winner of the 2017 Partnership Award is Melinda Wharton, MD, Director, National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Disease at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.  Dr. Wharton has supported AIM and Immunization Program Managers with astute guidance and program support.  Her commitment to leadership development among the Immunization Program Managers has allowed AIM to offer an annual leadership conference for AIM members.  Dr. Wharton has taken time to meet program managers, share her vision, and to better understand the challenges immunization programs face in their day to day operations.
