Build a Powerful Personal Brand
Diane Thielfoldt from the Learning Cafe presents an engaging webinar that will help you “Build a Powerful Personal BRAND” presented by Diane Theilfoldt. Every day in everything you do, you tell the world about yourself, your values, your goals and your skills. You each have a brand – even if you don’t know what it is or even if it isn’t working for you – you still have a brand. Your brand is what you communicate to the outside world about who you are and how you see yourself. Your brand becomes synonymous with what people expect from you and what you’re known for. Whether you are just getting started in your career or have been working for several years, you can benefit from developing your personal brand. Your brand is your most valuable career asset. This webinar is open to all program managers and their staff. Click here to view the recording and presentation slides.

Employee Engagement

Diane Thielfoldt from the Learning Cafe presents the role of leaders in establishing and maintaining an engaging environment. Every organization wants employees to “give their all” to their work. But what determines if employees will? When employees find personal meaning and motivation in their work, receive positive interpersonal support, and operate in an efficient work environment – they feel energized and engaged. And leaders create the organizational culture and provide support for employees to strive to engage in the workplace. Leaders at all levels have a critical role to play in establishing and maintaining an engaging environment. What managers and team leaders do and how they behave sets the tone for employee engagement. Getting Employee Engagement Right energizes and focuses managers and supervisors on the essentials of engagement – engaging and retaining talented employees. Ignite! Getting Your Community Coalition "Fired Up" for Change
AIM hosted a webinar on January 19th from 2:00-3:30 PM ET featuring Fran Butterfoss, PhD. This presentation by Dr. Butterfoss was based on her book of the same name. It was created for community practitioners, leaders and activists who want to build and sustain innovative organizations and coalitions to improve the health and well-being of their communities. The elements that make strong coalitions are essential for building any solid organization. That’s why Ignite appeals to professionals who are ready to build and sustain innovative organizations and community coalitions that change policies, systems, and environments. In Ignite! building and sustaining a coalition is compared to planning, building, fueling, and sustaining a campfire. The book’s four parts—Before You Build It, Build It, Make It Work, and Sustain It—are filled with useful tools that will spark ideas and resources to “fire up” any community for healthy, lasting change.
