The AIM Business Meeting and Program Managers Meeting were wonderful opportunities to gather as a group, learn from each other, and inspire future growth! I feel empowered by the energy and enthusiasm of AIM members. It was wonderful to see and hear new faces in the AIM community; and reassuring to hear the growing value that AIM provides for programs to speak with a unified voice and share peer-to-peer support. We passed an AIM Advocacy Policy to guide our advocacy efforts, established a Corporate Alliance Program to increase revenue and corporate partnerships, and laid the groundwork for a new membership-driven cooperative agreement with CDC. As you write your grants for the coming year, make sure you include travel for next year's AIM meetings: the AIM Leadership Development Conference and the 2015 AIM Business and Program Managers Meetings. Let's keep the momentum going! Be sure to stay current on the AIM website, where you can find all the presentations from the Program Managers Meeting and the newly passed Advocacy Policy and Corporate Alliance Program documents.
