  • As a result of the concerns raised, CDC sent spreadsheets to each grantees showing their 2009 funding in comparison to previous years
  • Lane Rodewald presented a chart depicting "over funded" and "under funded" grantees in his presentation at 2009 NIC

AIM H1N1 IIS Survey
Survey of program managers to identify state plans for IIS to track H1N1 vaccine administration and share data with health plan databases

  • The information was shared with the National Vaccine Advisory Committee H1N1 Vaccine Safety Subgroup, CDC and HHS Assistant Secretary of Health
  • As a result, HHS was able to identify states with the capacity to participate in a special H1N1 vaccine surveillance mechanism modeled after the Vaccine Safety Datalink. HHS help follow-up conversations with those states to develop an H1N1/IIS vaccine safety module
