Committees

AIM has seven standing committees through which various policy and practice issues are discussed. Three special interest committees provide discussion forums for policy issues unique to specific programs.

The AIM policy committees provide feedback on issues to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other policymaking entities. The committees rely heavily on the input of the members to identify critical issues, develop policy and position statements, and provide support and education around the implementation of new vaccine policies and recommendations.
