Through advocacy, collaboration and leadership, AIM represents state, local,
and territorial immunization projects to promote sound immunization
policies and programs
Goals and Objectives
I. To influence national immunization policy development through critical input
from immunization program managers.
Identify and prioritize pertinent immunization/vaccine preventable disease
issues and develop and disseminate policy statements
Strongly advocate for selected issues
Participate on or engage with
relevant national advisory committees
II. Foster effective partnerships to achieve mutual goals toward sound immunization
policies and programs.
Strengthen relationship with NIP through coordinated policy development
and program management
Strategically assess the goals and activities
of partners
Develop partnering agreements and agendas
III. Improve immunization program management by sharing knowledge, skills,
and experience of immunization program managers.
Assess the needs for technical assistance of AIM membership
Establish a mentor network
